I love the beach, I love my wedding dress and I love my husband. So we decided to put them all together for my "trash" the dress shoot. Well to say I trashed it is a bit extreme. At on point as I was so carefully holding it up making sure that no part of it got wet or a smidge dirty, Kyle told me, "Honey it is going to get dirty at some point" that's when I let my beloved white dress that I became Mrs. Kyle Richter in touch the sand!
The sand in my toes, the crashing of the waves, the crystal blue stretching as far as the eye can see... I have loved the beach since I can remember. Every place I have ever lived has been based on one thing, the proximity to the beach. So when we talked about my post dress shoot (post sounds so much better than "trash") that it had to take place at the beach.
It was a cold day in January and my dress, a little more snug than I remember, my favorite rain boots, and best of all my hubby behind the camera, went to Crystal Cove and did my post dress shoot. It was a trip down memory lane, and new memories as I got in the water, and a reminder of why I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. That made me realize why I loved that dress so much, because in it I started my life with him!
Cheers and Enjoy...
